Description
Tube clamp for 1/4 inch brake line. It holds a run of hard line against the chassis or the frame so that the line is not free to move.
An unsupported run vibrates. A line that vibrates works its flares at both ends, rubs against whatever it can reach, and catches whatever the road throws at it. Clamps at regular intervals are what stop all three, and they are the cheapest part of the whole job by a distance.
Count the run before ordering rather than buying a handful. Most jobs want more of these than people expect, and running short in the middle means leaving a span unsupported until another order turns up.
