Abrasion sleeve, sold by the foot. It slides over a brake hose or hard line and takes the rubbing that would otherwise land on the line, wherever the run passes a chassis rail, a suspension arm, a bracket edge or another line.
This is the one for routing, not for heat. If the problem is an exhaust manifold, a header or a turbo, the insulating hose and the heat protection sleeves in this same category are what you want instead.
Buy the length of the run and a few inches more. Sleeve is far easier to trim than to splice, and a joint in the middle of a protected section is somewhere grit gets in and then sits against the line.
