Telescopic tube cutter for brake line. Extends to reach a cut in a spot a fixed-length cutter can’t get to, then collapses back down for storage, which is what makes it useful on longer runs and awkward chassis locations.
A square, clean cut is what decides whether the flare after it holds. Take it in several light passes rather than winding the wheel down in one go, and deburr the inside edge before flaring. A cut that wanders leaves a flare that seats unevenly, and that tends to show up as a weep at the fitting rather than as an obvious leak.
