Description
A No.3 JIC port, 3/8-24 with a 37 degree seat, on a plain body meant to be welded rather than threaded into anything. It gives you a JIC connection point on a bracket, a housing or a fabricated hard line where no factory port exists.
This is a custom build part. It turns up on hydraulic handbrake plumbing, relocated proportioning valves, one-off caliper brackets, anything where the layout is not a production one.
Weld it with the system dry and empty, let the joint cool on its own rather than quenching it, and pressure test before the car moves. A weld-on fitting that looks sound cold can seep once the line is hot and under pedal pressure.
