Description
Weld on banjo head, 10 x 8mm, for 3/16 inch tube. It gives you a banjo connection on a fabricated bracket or a custom hard line where no factory banjo boss exists.
A banjo joint seals on the washers either side of the head and not on the bolt thread, so it wants a flat, clean face on both sides and a fresh copper washer on each. Reusing a washer that has already been crushed is the usual reason a banjo weeps after a rebuild. Copper washers to suit are in the Copper Washers category.
Weld it with the system dry and empty, let the joint cool on its own, and pressure test before the car goes anywhere.
